Our new Foundation
Primer slips over clean, dry skin giving you the perfect surface.
Every artist needs to work on a perfect canvas.
Why Is Foundation Primer So Important?
Foundation primer prepares the skin for the application of foundation.
It fills in lines and wrinkles, even large pores, by smoothing out uneven
skin texture. Makeup artists have been known to call it "spackle" because
it works for the face in the same way spackle works for walls. Primers
also reduce shininess in oilier skin types.
Foundation primer also keeps your foundation looking freshly
applied, lessening the need for touching up throughout the day.
It is an essential barrier between
the makeup and the skin. For drier skin types, primer helps trap moisture,
keeping skin hydrated and smooth all day long. For oilier skin types,
foundation primer keeps oil from seeping through your foundation layer and
causing it to melt away. You will also use less of your makeup. Instead of
your foundation absorbing directly into your skin, the primer acts as a
base, while the foundation adheres to the primer and not directly to the
skin.

4 Steps to Using a
Foundation Primer:
- Moisturize your skin and let your daily moisturizer soak into your
skin.
- Apply a dime-sized amount of your foundation primer to clean
fingertips.
- Gently rub into the skin as you would your moisturizer, paying
special attention to the T-Zone areas and fine lines and wrinkles.
- Wait one to three minutes before applying your foundation.
The soothing vitamins and anti-oxidants help soften the appearance of
fine lines and wrinkles and the specialized silicone-based formula will
provide grip to increase the wear and longevity of your foundation.
