Tweeze
any hairs that obviously lie outside of your brow's natural
shape. Begin by tweezing from underneath the brow and pull hairs in the
direction they are growing, in a sharp, swift movement. Pull one hair at
a time, alternating from one brow to the other. Why? This will eliminate
over tweezing and achieve a more balanced look.
Brush
eyebrows into shape by using a Brow brush. Brush eyebrows hairs up. Work
upward and outward to give the brow more definition . Spray brush with
hair spray to keep them up. For a groomed look, coat hairs instead with
clear mascara. For a dramatic look, coat hairs with a dark mascara.
Brow
pencils are used to fill in any gaps in your
eyebrows. With an eyebrow pencil, use light, feathery strokes to
draw in each hair. Begin at bottom of hair follicle and draw upward
following hair direction. Brush with the Brow brush to blend in the
eyebrow pencil, again working upward and outward.
Remember the pencil rule? You can use it again to shape
your eyebrows correctly. There are three points you need to worry about.
The inner center point.
To
find it, place a pencil so that it runs along the nose to the inner corner
of your eye and up to the eyebrow. This is where the eyebrow should start.
The highest point of the arch.
To find it, align the pencil (don't poke your eye,
please!) along the center of your pupil and up towards the eyebrow.
The outside endpoint.
Place
the pencil so that it is aligned with the corner of the nose, the outside
corner of the eye, and the forehead (yes, like a forward slash). The end
point of your eyebrow should gradually taper off at this point.

Nails
are made of keratin protein and reflect your nutritional status and
general health. Proper nutrition, good general health, and gentle care to
the nails are the secret to good nails. Do not cut cuticles or push
them back. This will only inflame the nail fold, causing it
to crack and weaken the nail. Nor should you use a
hard instrument to clean under the nail. Use soap and a nail brush.
Every night apply a moisturizer to your nails to reduce evaporation of
water.
Like your face your hands and feet say a great deal about you. Having a
perfectly made up face isn't enough if your nails are cracked, unshaped or
if the nail polish is chipped. Clean shapely and polished tips and toes
are an essential part of good grooming.
How to Apply Nail Colour:
Remove old polish from your hands and clean hands thoroughly. There should
be no cream on your nails when you apply nail color. It is recommended
that you apply a single coat of Top and Base Coat first. Then stroke the
nail polish through the center of the nail from base to tip. Now stroke
polish around base of nail without touching the skin and down one side of
the nail. Then stroke the polish down the other side of nail.
Wipe across tip of polished nail with thumb or tissue. This helps prevent
chipping of nail enamel. When first coat of enamel is dry apply second
coat. Apply the enamel quickly with long light strokes.
Tips to Remember:
Be sure the enamel is thin enough to flow evenly and smoothly. If enamel
is too thick add 2 or 3 drops of thinner, hours before using.
After application is completed, clean the tops of bottles and replace caps
tightly.
Avoid applying nail enamel under a fan.
Apply 3 coats of frosted nail enamel and 2 coats of matte nail enamel for
a perfect finish.
Short broad nails will look more slender if you leave a narrow line at
each side of the nail unpolished.
